The 6 best-performing Reels on Aleko Sokurashvili's Instagram, with the opening line, view count and hook pattern behind each one. From a real Scrptly analysis.

What this is

Aleko Sokurashvili has 523,648 followers on Instagram, read from the profile on 25 October 2026. Scrptly analysed the 6 best-performing Reels on the account. Every number below is the figure recorded at that moment, not an estimate, and every Reel links out so it can be checked.

6 Reels. 15,812,326 views between them. Posted between 23 Sep 2026 and 17 Nov 2023, running 64 to 109 seconds.

The line on each card is the transcribed opening, verbatim, except where it is marked as an opening shot.

The same hook, twice, three weeks apart, for 11.5 million views

Aleko Sokurashvili posts about technology in Russian. The two best-performing Reels here open on near-identical sentences three weeks apart: one of the craziest things I have ever learned, and one of the craziest things I have learned in all this time. They did 6,175,521 and 5,398,315 views.

Unlike most repeated hooks we have measured, these two did not decay. The second did 87 percent of the first. That is worth noting because the usual pattern for a reused opener is a steep fall, and here the audience treated the second as a new instance rather than a repeat.

The construction withholds everything. There is no subject, no category and no promise beyond the speaker's own reaction. Craziest thing I ever learned is a frame that could precede literally any fact, which is exactly why it travels: nothing in it can put a viewer off.

The rest of the set names its subject and performs an order of magnitude lower. Zuckerberg presented an unusual device today, 2,507,543. A neural network spent 141 hours in Minecraft and became depressed, 510,182. A man locked himself in his own shop for thirty days, 486,644.

The Minecraft one is the interesting case, because it is the most specific and strangest fact in the set and it did a twelfth of the vaguest hook. A hundred and forty one hours and became depressed is a better sentence by any writing standard. It is also a sentence a viewer can decide they are not interested in, and the craziest thing I ever learned is not.

A note on how to read this page, since the hooks are not in English. They are reproduced in the original Russian because the construction is what transfers and a translation would quietly change it. The top two are a case in point: the difference between them is one adverbial phrase, ever against in all this time, and both land on the same shape of withheld reaction. That shape works in any language, and so does its cost. An opening that gives the viewer nothing to evaluate also gives them nothing to look forward to, which is probably why the account cannot run on it exclusively and the other four name their subject.

The hooks on this account

Hook patternWhat it doesFrom which Reel
Reaction without a subjectName only your own response to the fact, never the fact. One of the craziest things I have ever learned, 6.2M views.
Named person, new objectA recognisable name and something unusual they just did.Zuckerberg presented an unusual device today, 2.5M views.
The specific strange factThe whole oddity stated up front, precisely.A neural network spent 141 hours in Minecraft, 510K views.

What you can copy

  • Withhold the subject entirely. The vaguest hook on this account did twelve times the most specific one.
  • Reuse a working opener without fear of decay. The second use here did 87 percent of the first, three weeks later.
  • Notice when precision gives the viewer an exit. A named topic lets them decide it is not for them; a bare reaction does not.
