rroomfies's Instagram Reels, broken down

Five Reels, 2.4 million views, and the two that lead with a personal number did ten times the one that admits to doing the bare minimum.

What this is

rroomfies has 152,164 followers on Instagram, read from the most recent analysis. The account posts about personal finance, property and early retirement. Scrptly analysed the five best-performing Reels.

Five Reels. 2,375,230 views between them. Posted between April 2024 and May 2026.

Every opening is the transcribed audio, verbatim.

  • “I'm 24. I own a rental property on top of a six-figure net worth.”

Why this account was picked

We select on performance relative to audience, not on follower count, because raw views mostly measure how big someone already is. This account clears all three checks we apply: 152,164 followers, inside the band where views per follower is meaningful; a best reel at 6.5 times follower count against a floor of 3; and a like rate averaging 3.2 percent against the 3.12 percent median across our wider sample.

The second and third together are what separate an account whose audience responds from one that simply has a lot of people attached to it. Plenty of much larger accounts fail them.

An age and a number, in the first eight words

"I'm 24. I own a rental property on top of a six-figure net worth." That is the best reel at 996,180 views, and the opening contains an age, an asset and a figure before anything is explained.

The weakest, at 82,752, opens "I'm dropping in on a day where I do the bare minimum." It is honest and it promises the viewer nothing.

The same formula, two years apart, with different results

The fourth reel uses the identical structure: "I'm twenty-six. My goal is to retire by thirty." It did 108,236 views, roughly a ninth of the 24-year-old version.

The difference is that one states what is already true and the other states an intention. A fact invites "how"; a goal invites "we'll see".

The dating caveat

The top reel is from April 2024 and the lower three are from April and May 2026, so it has had two extra years to accumulate views. That accounts for part of the gap. The fourth reel, which uses the same formula more weakly, is from the same month as two of the others, so the comparison between those two is clean.

By the numbers

Views per follower is the only row that compares fairly between accounts of different sizes.

The best reel here reached 6.5 views for every follower the account has. Across our wider sample 65 percent of Reels land below their account's follower count, and the largest accounts sit furthest below, so clearing your own audience several times over is not something scale buys you.

What transfers

  1. Lead with a fact about yourself that is already true, including the number. Age plus asset plus figure.
  2. A stated goal is weaker than a stated result. One invites curiosity, the other invites scepticism.
  3. Never open by describing a low-effort day. It tells the viewer the video is low effort too.
  4. Check dates before comparing your own posts. Two years of accumulation is not a content difference.
