Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains how refunds, cancellations, and withdrawals are handled for Scrptly ("we", "us").

1. Free Trial

New users receive limited free access (e.g. two analyses) without requiring payment details.

We encourage users to try the Service before purchasing a paid plan.

2. Monthly Subscriptions

Monthly plans are billed in advance.

You may cancel your subscription at any time via your account settings.

  • Your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period
  • You will not be charged again after cancellation

👉 Payments are non-refundable once the billing period has started, except where required by applicable law.

3. Annual Subscriptions

Annual plans are billed upfront.

You may request a refund within 14 days of the initial purchase, provided that:

  • You have used the Service only minimally (e.g. fewer than 5 analyses), and
  • Your request is submitted within the 14-day period

After this period, annual plans are non-refundable, except where required by law.

4. EU / UK Consumer Rights (Right of Withdrawal)

If you are a consumer in the European Union or United Kingdom, you have a legal right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days without giving a reason.

However:

By purchasing and using Scrptly immediately, you:

  • expressly request immediate access to the Service
  • acknowledge that the Service begins performance upon activation

👉 Once the Service has been substantially used, you may lose your right of withdrawal, in accordance with applicable law.

If you have not meaningfully used the Service, you may still be eligible for a refund within this period.

5. Billing Errors

We will issue a refund if you were charged incorrectly, including:

  • Duplicate charges
  • Charges after cancellation
  • Technical errors that prevented access to the Service

6. Chargebacks

Before initiating a chargeback, please contact us.

We will do our best to resolve any issue quickly and fairly.

Unjustified chargebacks may result in account suspension.

7. Processing Refunds

Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method.

Please allow 5–10 business days for the refund to appear, depending on your payment provider.
