Looking for an invideo AI alternative? Work out whether you need footage or a first line

The honest version first

invideo AI generates video out of nothing. You give it a prompt and it returns a finished clip, with access to Seedance, Veo and Kling, AI avatars, voice clones and stock, and it exports without a watermark on every paid tier. If you need footage and do not have any, invideo makes it and Scrptly cannot make a single frame. Scrptly answers the question invideo does not ask: of the Reels already working in your niche, what happens in the first four seconds, and what should yours say.

Side by side

Both price in US dollars. invideo's page defaults to annual billing, so both their monthly and annual rates are given.

What the search data says

Across 199 brand keywords in this category priced against Google Ads, only 3.0 percent of the search demand is people evaluating. 305,760 searches a month are somebody typing a product name on its own. 9,470 are somebody comparing it, checking its price, or looking for an alternative. invideo itself runs at 1 in 44 on that ratio, which is what tells us the people searching it mean the software and not something else.

That ratio is also the test that kept two much larger terms off this list. One competitor name measures 40,500 a month with almost nobody checking its price, because most of those searches are an ordinary English word rather than the product.

Which one to open first

  1. Work out which end of the job is actually blocking you. If you have no footage, invideo makes it and Scrptly cannot.
  2. If you have footage and it still gets scrolled past, the problem is the first four seconds, which is what Scrptly reads.
  3. Both are cheap enough to test in a month. invideo Plus is $20 monthly and Scrptly gives 2 analyses free with no card.
